Our Innovative School-Based Health Program

Most public health programs target adults and older community members, but OKB Hope Foundation is here to change that.

We recognize that the youth can be the pathway to a brighter future, and that is why we are implementing an innovative and novel school-based health program.

Our three-pronged health program will involve health education, career training, and leadership skills courses targeted at school-aged children in Kumasi. Each component of this program will increase our target population's overall health literacy and economic agency.

This program will ensure improved health self-advocacy, long-term health outcomes, better economic futures, and greater health literacy among Ghanaian youth in Kumasi.

In the future, this program will be expanded to include other school districts across Ghana.
We have implemented this program for 200 students in the Kumasi region. Currently, we are in the preliminary stages of our program.

We will be conducting continuous monitoring and evaluation to see the program's long-term potential and possible impact. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from our program!
